史丹頓堪稱「新台灣之友」，陳偉殷本季出賽5場，他有3場轟出全壘打（包括4月6日對老虎隊、26日對道奇隊），目前8轟暫居國聯第5，只落後並列領先的洛磯隊史托瑞、亞瑞納多兩轟。
史丹頓去年只打74戰就有27轟，今年前21場比賽已有8轟、近6戰5轟，ESPN推算，他若按照這種進度，季末可望繳出56轟，寫下個人單季最多全壘打紀錄。
昨天4局上，史丹頓在兩好球後，逮中釀酒人先發投手安德森82英里（132公里）變速球，拉上中左外野看台，直擊計分板下方廣告看板，嚇壞現場28193名球迷，這支462英尺陽春砲也是大聯盟本季第2遠，只差海盜隊梅瑟4英尺。
值得一提的是，史丹頓打到球時，以時速117英里（188公里）射出，這是大聯盟官方去年開始測量這個項目後，速度第4快的全壘打球，馬林魚三壘手普拉多說：「我一點也不意外，他每次打到球都很扎實飆進場內各處。」
